Fergie in Talks to Join ‘Nine’

Fergie is in negotiations to join the new Rob Marshall musical ‘Nine.’ The cast already includes Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cottilard, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, and Judi Dench.

The role would be Fergie’s first major role. She’d play Saraghina, a woman who introduces Daniel Day Lewis’ character to the world of sexuality. The film is an adaptation of a stage musical inspired by Fellini’s film 8 1/2. Focusing on a film director facing his 40th birthday, and a midlife crisis blocking his creative impulses.

The film starts lensing in October.
