Check it out! It’s the poster for the Judd “I’ll Never Give Audiences a Breather From Me!” Apatow-produced flick, ‘Pineapple Express’ starring Seth “I’ll Never Give Audiences a Breather From Me!” Rogan. If the poster looks somewhat familiar, it’s because I’m pretty sure it’s the same exact poster from ‘Knocked Up’ just with a little Photoshop action to add some smoke.

Are these guys even trying anymore?

I mean, come on! Is that not a bad ass poster?! Sometimes I just want to give Guillermo del Toro a hug for doing what he does. I love that this movie is going to blend the Hellboy stories with del Toro’s passion for mythology. And I love that this poster reflects that, even if it is subtle.

‘Hellboy II: The Golden Army’ comes out July 11th.

‘The Incredible Hulk’ Poster Revealed

The new ‘The Incredible Hulk’ poster has been unveiled and it’s, well, eh. We get a decent back shot of the big green guy and Ed Norton doing the lonely man walk. I don’t know what it is about this movie. Everything about it should be huge. It’s got Ed Norton and Tim Roth. It’s moving the story back towards the great television series. Oh, and it’s the fucking Hulk! ‘The Incredible Hulk’ should be popping my brain from excitement at this point. But, like the trailer, this poster just kind of makes me feel blah. And, is it me or does Ed look miscast as Banner?

Maybe I’m alone here. Or, better yet, maybe I’m wrong. Please, someone tell me I’m wrong.

‘X Files’ Poster… Guess They Were Serious

Here is the high res poster for the new upcoming ‘X Files’ movie. I am kind of hoping this means that they saved all the good ideas for the movie. And the purpose of high resolution is to see the details of…? They could have gone with a Lite-Brite quality resolution and the impact would have been the same: people would be off, feigning excitement for this movie while I would be back at their studio apartment making out with their girlfriend and playing their X-Box … naked.

New ‘Day of the Dead’ Poster

The upcoming remake of George Romero’s third installation of the original Dead trilogy, “Day of the Dead” now has a new poster for your ogling pleasure. It’s a sharp looking piece of poster and the zombie looks bad ass and scary, but I think the thing that makes me cringe the most is the Mena Suvari and Nick Cannon part of it. *shudder*

I wasn’t a huge fan of Romero’s original; it’s definitely third of three in the trilogy. It had its strong points: the KNB effects were great and I thought Bub was an awesome zombie character, but it had its weak points, too (could Rhodes have been any more over the top?!). So I’m not totally averse to this remake. I believe it’s going to be like Zack Snyder’s remake of ‘Dawn of the Dead’ where it’s not really retelling the original story; more of a launching point. Plus, it’s been pulled from having a theatrical release and is a direct-to-video release (coming to a shelf near you April 8th), so it won’t mess with the original trilogy as much as Snyder’s did.

Either way, feast your brains on the poster.
