When the Writers came off of strike, there was an idea that popped in my head. I dismissed it quickly, but apparently the idea has become a reality. Jack Bauer is back……for 2 hours at least. Producers at over FOX have decided to develop a two hour TV movie, presumably to air this fall, for the hit series 24. The story is set to take place between seasons six and the upcoming season 7, which was delayed to a January 2009 premiere as a result of the writers strike.
Let’s face it, since its return Family Guy has never been as good as before Fox pulled it. Seth MacFarlane is a very funny entertainer, but for whatever reason, the momentum the show had at launch has never returned.
Which is why, the spin-off by MacFarlane starring Peter Griffin’s neighbor Cleveland Brown isn’t filling me with anticipation. American Dad was something I was really excited for, but, that show came up short in so many ways (short meaning not funny).
Anyways, you know I’ll still watch it, because I’m a slave to Fox’s Sunday Night lineup.
