The Dark Knight Rises Trailer is released. I can go on record as saying I’m a huge fanboy of Nolan’s take on the series, and this does NOT look like it will disappoint.

In an interview with Total Film, Christian Bale apparently has said that ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will be the last time he dons the batsuit.
“I believe, unless Chris [Nolan] says different, this will be the last time I’m playing Batman.”
“He’s a pretty damn good filmmaker. I trust that he’s going to come up with something wonderful.”
I know the title of this is ‘Review: Terminator Salvation,’ but in reality, I should title this article, “In Defense of Terminator Salvation.” The past films of McG haven’t been films I’ve been particularly a fan of, so handing him a treasured franchise like Terminator was definitely an idea that did not sit well with fans, myself included. I have to admit, the idea of Michael Mann making a film about John Dillinger was something that excited me quite a bit. If anyone could do the story justice, it’d be the director of Heat. Though, what worried me was Mann’s current obsession of shooting everything on the Sony CineAlta HD camera. Apple.com posted the HD Trailer for the upcoming Michael Mann biopic on John Dillinger ‘Public Enemies.’ The film stars Johnny Depp in the titular role, and co-stars Marion Cottilard and Christian Bale. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this one.

When it rains, it pours…
Pictures, some 400 of them, taken behind-the-scenes of Michael Mann’s latest movie, “Public Enemies,” have surfaced on-line. First Showing has taken the liberty of going through them and grabbing the really choice shots. Check them out.
There are reports that the movie has already had a couple of sneak peaks for audiences to give their opinion. These pictures could be from re-shoots following those screenings.
In the movie, Depp plays John Dillinger, Oscar-winner Marillon Cotillard his special lady friend, and Christian Bale co-stars as the FBI agent tracking them down. -Sam

With the recent spate of comic book-based movies, we’re in a golden age. It is no longer just okay to throw characters onto the screen with poor dialogue and ludicrous scenarios.
