He stars in one of the few movies that has the honor of being listed by me as "films the world could have done without" in my bio here. I stand by that. But consider this my lager hitting the curb for him.

I totaly agree with the inaccuracies ..a couple really stand out

Seems like bomb tech really get scared..they run. THis happens twice one dies the other gets hurt,
When in those big protective suits and you thinks its gonna blow. U HIT the Dirt. That is normal protocol.

The other is the scene where he follows the cord and pulls up a cluster of bombs.
a. you dont pull on the cords
b these would be very thin disguised wires not cables that you can lift up all the devices for dramatic effect

Yeah, I rarely watch trailers anymore and I try not to read too much about the movie beforehand. I liked back in the day when you'd go to see a movie and the trailers attached were the first time you'd see those trailers. Those were exciting days. I just have this terrible feeling that the Shutter Island trailers also spoiled things...hope I'm wrong. Hollywood needs to be douched.

The lead character is great, but the movie has far too many inaccurate details!

EOD teams do not drive Humvees
Never, ever do three men go out alone.
Never, ever do EOD teams clear a building
No one goes out in the middle of the night and carjacks a vehicle seeking revenge and on top of that sneaks back on base.
The equipment used didnt show up until 2 years later
Lets all drink a shiny juice container while a sniper shoots at us!
The UK Contractors... I dont think so...
The Iraqi vendors set up next to the living area???
I could go on and on....

I thought it was going to be a fresh take on soldiers in action, but it delivered just about every cliche in the book. Ok, so the main character is an adrenaline junkie who cares only for his own thrills. But why? He is married, was he always on the edge, or did war change him? We never find out.... no character background or development. So he goes through the movie being John Wayne and Rambo combined. And comes back for more!! Only thing I could think of, I'd hate to be on his EOD "Team". He's going to get himself and everyone around him killed one day....I had more compassion and interest in the rest of the team than him. They should have 'fragged' him when they got the chance. What a crappy movie, I can't understand why anyone, even critics would like it.

No story, no character build up, its really inaccurate, camera work didn't really do its job, which was to show us how nerve wrecking being a soldier is.
it could have been a very good movie if it had some good writing. its a waste of time

This seemed like a 12 yr old edited it. Just jumped from scene to scene with no cohesion. It was so boring with no story or plot to link anything together.
