Universal Pictures has bought the rights to Larry Doyle’s novel “Go Mutants!.” The book sets the story in a high school where all the aliens and monsters from 50s sci-fi movies come true, and their children assimilate among the other kids.

The pic will be produced by Brian Grazer, no word on director yet.
