Bret Easton Ellis’ novel ‘American Psycho’ quickly became a hit as a film, now its headed for a new send up, a Broadway musical.

The story is about a materialistic Wall Street Banker, who also happens to be a serial killer. A development team is now seeking writers for the score and the book. There is no solid timeline, but the producers are eyeing it as a large-scale musical.

The film adaptation was released in 2000 by Lionsgate, and starred Christian Bale.
