Infogrames has acquired struggling historic video game company Atari for $11 million, which seems like a bit of a bargain.

Atari has been struggling for many years now, but I believe the brand is still fairly strong (who can forget Atari??). Phil Harrison, who left Sony a few months ago is president of Infogrames, and said he wants to focus Atari’s resources to online gaming.
