Lindsay Lohan Follows Manson
March 28, 2008
Lindsay Lohan has signed on to play one of Charles Manson’s followers in ‘Manson Girls’ according to Entertainment Tonight. Lohan has been cast as Nancy Pitman, who wasn’t actually at the famous murder scene, but was arrested later on for being an accessory to the murder.
Can Lohan play someone weak minded enough to fall under the power of Charles Manson? My guess is that she can as she was spotted the other day trying to follow the preachings of a squirrel dressed in cool karate gear. Sensei Squirrel eventually was forced to kick Lohan out of his class saying, “she just didn’t get it,” and sited several instances of her flashing her vagina and trying to make out with raccoons she saw in the park.

Children of Men: The TV Series?
March 28, 2008
David Eick, producer of TVs Bionic Women announced that he was working on a pilot based on PD James’ novel Children of Men, the same source material that Alfonso Cuaron’s amazing film was based on.
Eick told Sci Fi Wire that the series will focus more on exploring the world, not so much a “war show” like the film, but an expansion on the issues surrounding it.
His description on Sci Fi wire of his intent was I’m sure purposefully vague. Children of Men was one of the best films of 2006, however, I doubt anything could come close to its perfection. It sounds to me that this TV series would have absolutely no relation to the film. The only similarity they’d share is its source.
New Grand Theft Auto Trailer Released
March 28, 2008
Rockstar released the fourth trailer for GTA IV, nothing too crazy, just gives you more visuals of the much anticipated sequel. They claim the jump from the last GTA to this one is much like the jump from the top scroller to GTA III.
I can’t wait. Check out the trailer below.
Got a Month? Write A Script
March 27, 2008
There are all sorts of books and lecture series and such telling you how easy it is to write a screenplay. Let me just say from first-hand experience, it’s not. It’s hard work. It takes dedication. It takes planning. It takes effort. It takes support, from both friends, family and anonymous people. What, you don’t know any anonymous people? That’s where Script Frenzy comes in. Read more
Axl Rose to Dr. Pepper: Checkmate
March 27, 2008
In response to Dr. Pepper’s publicity stunt that is trying to get America to continue drinking Dr. Pepper and possibly get ‘Chinese Democracy’ released by offering a free can of Dr. Pepper to every American (except Slash and Buckethead) if the album comes out in 2008, GnR leader Axl Rose put out this reply:
“We are surprised and very happy to have the support of Dr. Pepper with our album, ‘Chinese Democracy,’ as for us this came totally out of the blue. If there is any involvement with this promotion by our record company or others, we are unaware of such at this time. And as some of Buckethead’s performances are on our album, I’ll share my Dr. Pepper with him.”
Touche, Mr. Rose. Way to effectively not say shit. Granted, I’d probably feel weird about having my hand ultimately forced by a soft drink company after 13-plus years of not releasing it. But still, now that there’s a free Dr. Pepper thrown into the mix, I definitely want this album this year!

‘X Files’ Trailer
March 27, 2008
The full trailer will be seen with the release of ‘Iron Man’ on May 2nd, but there has been some covert filming going on and we now have a bootleg version on line, complete with giddy giggling during the X-Files music. If my reaction to the trailer was a person, it would be a depressed emo girl that hates lipstick. It didn’t excite me.The trailer doesn’t give us too much about what the movie has in store other than Gillian Anderson gets some work again. Which is nice. She could use the money. Unlike me who has so much that I start every day by shooting hundred dollar bills out of a cannon.*UPDATE* New Official Trailer is Out
Twilight Zone Episode Becomes Movie
March 27, 2008
Richard Matheson’s classic Twilight Zone Episode “Death Ship,” is being adapted for the screen by ‘3:10 to Yuma’ scribe Michael Brandt. The original episode is about the arrival of three astronauts to a planet, and the subsequent discovery of a crashed ship identical to their own, the twist is, the bodies they find are there own.
Time travel, alternate dimensions, and space?? I’m all about it. It sounds like a fun concept, though this’ll be Brandt’s first foray into a directors chair, the results could be great!
