‘X Files’ Poster… Guess They Were Serious
March 31, 2008
Here is the high res poster for the new upcoming ‘X Files’ movie. I am kind of hoping this means that they saved all the good ideas for the movie. And the purpose of high resolution is to see the details of…? They could have gone with a Lite-Brite quality resolution and the impact would have been the same: people would be off, feigning excitement for this movie while I would be back at their studio apartment making out with their girlfriend and playing their X-Box … naked.
U2 Signs with Live Nation
March 31, 2008
Following the steps of Madonna, U2 has signed a 12 year merchandising, and digital & branding rights deal with Live Nation Artists. U2’s recording and publishing rights remain with Universal Music Group.
The cost of this to Live Nation remains a secret. It’s good to see the artists choosing new routes to make a buck, as the RIAA and labels as a traditional sense certainly has their days numbered.
Tony Starks Loves Audi’s
March 31, 2008

It looks like Mr. Tony Starks does not care about tasteful advertisement on top of not registering the “STARK” license plate first. In an effort to bring in more money Iron Man has teamed up with Audi to help both struggling enterprises. Audi is probably only worth a few billion and Iron Man will only make over a hundred million.
How do I get an Audi sponsor? I wouldn’t mind teaming up with them and getting a car that comes with a huge ball of fire. But no, they won’t. All I could get was a Hydrox sponsor. Come on, you know you love those sweet sandwiches made by Sunshine. If you say Oreo is better then I don’t know if I can argue with that much stupid. Hydrox … mmmm mmmm mmm … they’re cheap! And out of business. OK I totally made up my sponsor. I guess I’ll just have to go it alone… what’s that Audi? … Did you say something? … I thought you said something … no? … OK.
New ‘Dark Knight’ Trailer?
March 31, 2008
There’s been speculation as to where and with what the next ‘The Dark Knight’ trailer would appear. Well, it seems that it may debut online. A new site has popped up called ‘Clown Travel Agency.’ The site is one page and features a picture of a suitcase with a few stickers from around the world and, underneath the suitcase, an envelope marked “Departure Date 4-01.” Remember, the last trailer debuted on a website that looked like an ad for tow-trailers and was strikingly similar to this site in appearance.
Tomorrow is April Fool’s Day, which would be a great tie in to the Joker, but then again, it’s April Fools Day. So, an elaborate joke or do we finally get a new glimpse of this year’s blockbuster? Fingers crossed for the latter.

Muppet Movie Story Revealed
March 31, 2008
At first I thought it was just a bizarre story. The not-main-character from ‘Freaks and Geeks’ was going to revive the Muppets franchise for no other reason than he was a super-fan and Disney said “sure.”

GG Allin - Rock ‘n’ Roll Terrorist
March 31, 2008
Every time I see some 17 year old girl wearing a t-shirt that says “I love punk rock boys”, I laugh my ass off. I laugh because I think deeply into the meaning of that shirt. I like to picture these same preppy chicks come face to face with the king of Punk Rock, G.G. Allin. Read more

Bosworth Finally Explains Acting
March 28, 2008

If you thought acting was all about dedication to a role and years of study then you are stupid and sober. Kate Bosworth finally shed some light on how a real actress approaches her art: drink so much vodka you don’t remember ever being in a movie. In a recent interview Kate Bosworth said that during her love scene with co-star Jim Sturgess she was so hammered with acting juice that she doesn’t remember the scene.
“It was brilliant for about half an hour. As we continued to drink … it just became sloppy and messy. I couldn’t stand up at one point.”
I knew drinking made you better at things. Like acting. Picking up women. Driving. That’s how I got so good behind the wheel. Ten shots of vodka and I am ready to drive! Hey, why does my car look like a grocery cart? Whatever. To the candy aisle! *vroooooooom*

Note - Super excited for some Kate Bosworth drunk extras on the DVD where she tries to make out with a cameraman.
Saturday Afternoon Sweetness
March 28, 2008
While I really enjoy watching what can best be described as film (the artistically challenging, the avant-garde, the pictures with a purpose), I have my guilty pleasure side when it comes to the talkies: schlocky, mindless fun that seems to serve no other purpose than to entertain
